We are facing a big problem, since February 2020. We bought it new built from Matammy homes. My driveway was finished almost a year ago, since February 2020, we are having a big puddle on my driveway which caused many problems. On days that it rains, big puddles form and stay for many days until the water is su⁸cked and cleaned away.

Mattamy Homes in Bracebridge is the worst builder I have ever encountered. From the time we entered the home there have been multiple problems. Management really cares about the employees; there are "fun days" to celebrate successes, and barbeques for staff; the people who work here are generally happy and enjoy their jobs. There is a gym at head office for use by staff and a flexible dress code.

If the builder hires bad contractors, then the quality would be bad. I do not believe any of thèse contractors are the employées of Mattamy. Biggest mistake of my life to buy home with mattamy. Why we pay our plumber to fix mattamy,s non experienced workers mistakes.we had to pay our plumber to fix the plumbing because we didnt want ruin brand new home. One bathroom is unable to use because floor problem.
I went to the basement and discovered that there were two pipes missing from the vents leading to the bedroom above on the second floor's two vents. There where parts 0ver 10 ft. missing from each pipe. The floors are crackling everywhere like in the 300 year old house. One more thing, my porch was done in such way that it leaned towards the house so after every rain I had a lake in front of my main door.
Over half of my neighborhood has either moved or is in the process of moving due to dissatisfaction. I have had several flat tires as a result of sloppy/lazy builders leaving nails on the road. I watched one load up his tool belt from his truck and drop several nails and just leave them on the street.
Track homes are absolutely horrible quality 99% of the time. I often take a look at them before they are dry walled and the number of mistakes and shoddy workmanship is unbelievable. Why, even in custom-built homes I only find 1% waterproof the window openings properly before the windows are installed, just to give an example.
They do not overload you with homes and unrealistic quarterly numbers while also paying a great salary. Great company and management, very open environment. Home has been delayed 3 times in one month within the 90 day firm closing day notice. Their excuses there is not enough skilled trades workers. We choose Mattamy knowing the trade off that the house won't be perfect cosmetically, but we did save on the price so I can live with it. I'll make the repairs and changes to the way I want them.
